**Community Post—This is not an FCHS dog**<br/><br/>Lady is an 8-year-old spayed German Shepherd with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give. She is a very sweet, affectionate girl who bonds deeply with her people and would thrive in a calm, caring home where she can enjoy her golden years.<br/><br/>Lady's previous owner, due to age and health limitations, could no longer care for her. She is currently being treated for Lyme disease and is responding extremely well to medication. Her veterinary care, including diagnostics and treatment, is being handled, and she is up to date on core vaccinations.<br/><br/>Temperament-wise, Lady is exceptionally kind and well-mannered. She has been temperament tested with other dogs and showed no aggression or concerning behaviors. She simply prefers a quieter existence and isn't especially interested in playing or engaging with other dogs.<br/><br/>Lady is the kind of dog who will be happiest curled up near her person, enjoying companionship, routine, and a soft place to rest.
