Lady Bug's Story

Hi there, I'm Ladybug! I'm a one and a half year old bundle of joy, weighing in at 68 pounds. I'm known for my friendly, playful, and goofy nature. I've had quite the journey, having overcome surgery to repair my broken leg after an unfortunate car accident. But guess what? I've fully recovered and I'm stronger than ever! I love playing fetch, solving puzzles, and making new friends. I'm a brave girl, always ready for new adventures. I'm also a sweet goofball who loves to make people laugh. I'm smart too, quickly learning new tricks and commands. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and endless love to your home. So, why should you adopt me? Because I'm not just a pet, I'm a friend, a companion, and a source of unconditional love. Plus, I can't wait to create beautiful memories with my forever family! Come meet me and all my friends at the C.A.R.E. Adoption center located at 1328 West Sunshine Street in Springfield Missouri. Thursday, Friday, or Saturday from 10am-4pm.

Fill out an adoption application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CAST/Dog to be pre-approved!

All C.A.R.E rescue dogs are vaccinated, heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, and dogs are microchipped! So all you need to provide is the love.

Our adoption fee is a minimum $100 tax deductible donation. All donations are used for rescue and medical care of animals in need. C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. This helps reduce pet overpopulation in the Ozarks - the highest in the country. Each animal is current on vaccinations. Both dogs and cats must receive three total sets of vaccinations to prevent deadly animal diseases. All animals at C.A.R.E. are kept current on their vaccinations while in our care (All animals are vaccinated for Bordetella or "kennel cough", DA2PPV, CVK-puppies, DA2PPV, Lepto-adult dogs, FVRCP-C-kittens & adult cats). Dogs and cats above the age of 12 weeks old also receive their rabies shots and are sent home with a rabies certificate, collar, & rabies tag. If a puppy or kitten is adopted before they have received the total three vaccinations, it is the responsibility of the adopter to provide them. Each animal has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Worms are parasites that can cause serious damage to your pet. C.A.R.E. deworms all of the animals in our care.
