Hi, I’m Lady Bug!<br/><br/>I am a one-year-old Female Mixed Breed who weighs 55lbs. I was transported here from Fort Worth, Texas in order to find my new forever family!<br/><br/>I’m a total lovebug with humans — cuddling is my absolute favorite thing. If you’re looking for a best friend who’ll snuggle up with you on the couch, follow you from room to room, and greet you with a wagging tail every day, I might just be your girl.<br/><br/>Right now, I’m living in a room with a few calm female dogs and doing okay. But I want to be honest — on my very first day, I met another dog one-on-one while we were both on leash, and I got pretty overwhelmed. I growled and lunged, so my caregivers gave me my space and moved me to a calmer setup. Since then, I’ve been doing better, but I still need slow, careful introductions to new dogs. I’d probably be happiest as your one and only, or with a very easygoing dog who doesn’t mind giving me space. Dog parks? No thank you — they’re just not my thing.<br/><br/>I haven’t met any little kids yet, so no one’s quite sure how I’d do around them. I might be okay with older kids who can appreciate I'm a big strong dog.<br/><br/>I’ve got so much love to give and I can’t wait to find a person or family who’ll give me the chance to show them just how sweet and loyal I really am.
