Meet Lady (#37 Grammie)<br/>Our “Lady” is a senior girl looking for a quiet and patient family who will give her the home that she deserves. She came into our rescue from a breeder. We know very little about her background but believe she lived outside. Lady is 10 years old and seems to have never lived with a family. All indoor sounds and experiences are new to her. She<br/>will need someone who is very patient and willing to work with her while she continues to adjust to being part of a family.<br/><br/>More about Lady: This senior girl is small, under 20 pounds and comes to life outside-- she will run and trot and wag her tail excitedly even when it is bitter cold. Remarkably,<br/>she is house trained, she only wants to use outside for her bathroom. Lady sleeps quietly in her crate overnight. During the day, Lady has one spot on her foster family's<br/>couch where she is content to be curled up and watch the day unfold. <br/><br/>Lady's Needs: While Lady loves to be outside, she does not want to walk on a leash. She will need a fenced in yard. Additionally, Lady will need a confident and calm canine<br/>sibling in the house to help her to continue to adjust to being a member of the family. Both the people<br/>and the other four-legged beings will need to understand that Lady is not ready for lots of pets and attention; she is an independent older gal who forms her own opinions<br/>about her likes and dislikes.
