Lady

Meet Lady. Lady was found by a good soul on June 27, 2007. He was driving down a local road on his way to work and she was crossing the road. He was shocked at what he was seeing. She was emaciated and sick. Lady's rescuer reports 'it was one of the saddest things I have ever seen.' He stopped, she let him approach her and then pick her up. He took her home and got her hydrated and fed. The next day he took her to the local pet hospital for evaluation and treatment. Her weight was only 29 lbs and she should have been about 40 lbs. Over the next couple of weeks her foster family solved a couple of medical problems and then she was able to receive her first round of shots. She was on her way to becoming healthy. Lady was physically doing well, but she was having problems around the house with some behavior skills. Her rescuer felt it was mainly because of her age and being on her own for so long with no one to teach her. He thought it would help to get Lady some training, so they signed Lady up for an eight week training class. Lady did wonderful in class and learned many things and is now very healthy. Lady is a very playful, 10 month old. Lady has been in foster care for about 3 1/2 months with young children and cats. Please help Lady find a permanent home. She only has love to give!
