Laddie & Tramp (Bonded Pair)

Laddie and Tramp are approximately 1-year-old bonded brothers looking for a loving home together. They were rescued as street dogs in Puerto Rico and are both neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. They have no known health issues or special diet needs.<br/><br/>They are being rehomed due to no fault of their own. <br/><br/>Personality<br/>Both boys are shy and timid with new people and need a patient family willing to let them warm up at their own pace. Once comfortable, they are very affectionate and cuddly. They love running and playing outside just as much as relaxing on the couch together. They also love wrestling with each other, which is all playful.<br/><br/>Kids & Other Animals<br/>They have lived with children ages 3 and 5 and have been very gentle. They have never nipped or shown aggression toward people. They are energetic, however, and can accidentally knock over a small child when they get excited and run around indoors.<br/>They have not been tested with other dogs or cats, so compatibility with other animals is unknown.<br/><br/>Training & Habits<br/>They are still learning and will need a family committed to continuing their training:<br/>House-training: Partially trained and still in progress<br/>Leash: Several weeks of leash training<br/>Commands: None yet, but they are young and very trainable<br/>Chewing & digging: Yes; they need chew toys, supervision, and continued training<br/>Fencing: They do not jump fences<br/><br/><br/>Energy & Ideal Home<br/>These are high-energy young dogs who love to run, play, and wrestle. They haven't learned games like fetch yet, so their new family can have fun teaching them!<br/>Their ideal home would:<br/>Adopt both brothers together<br/>Have a securely fenced yard<br/>Provide plenty of daily exercise, play, and enrichment<br/>Be patient with shy dogs and continue their training<br/>Offer a calm, lower-traffic environment where they can build confidence<br/>With patience, consistency, and love, Laddie and Tramp will reward their family with two loyal, affectionate companions who are ready to learn and grow together.<br/>These sweet brothers are looking for their forever home—and they need to find it together.
