Laddie

Laddie is a neutered male Border Collie/Lab mix, born 10/2005. Laddie is a natural working dog, often wanting to "herd" the other dogs at our Shelter. He does much better with dogs larger than himself than with smaller dogs. Laddie has a fear of the leash and will drop to the ground and belly-crawl when on a leash. He can be taught to overcome this with lots of patience and reward-based training. Laddie is fairly good at sticking around the immediate vicinity if he is loose. He loves to stretch his legs, racing at full speed around the building. Laddie should be good with older children, and other than giving chase to a fearful cat or two, should be fine around most other family pets.
