LACY's Story

MEET LACY! Like her name suggests, this girl is a gentle soul. She can be shy with new people and new places (but who can blame her?). We have found that food is the way to her heart, as long as you have peant butter or cheese, she will greet you with the cutest tail wag. If you you have a quiet home and the patience for a shy lady, please stop in to meet Lacy! My friends describe me as: Gentle, Shy, Independent Lacy is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
