To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.almosthomeohio.org and complete our online application!Lacie is 7 yrs old

Lacie is a beautiful tri-color sheltie whose stare will stir your soul. Lacie loves to be loved. Her foster mom says she can be picked up easily, and she happily cuddles while soaking up long stretches of pets.
Lacie does well walking on a leash at the park. She’s not reactive when passing people or dogs.
In fact, Lacie doesn’t show much interest in other dogs. She gets along well with the female collie at her foster home, though she hasn’t engaged in play with her yet. When strangers pet her, Lacie stands calmly and allows attention. Lacie hasn’t barked since being with her fosters. She doesn’t need to be crated. This sweet girl has behaved perfectly when her fosters aren’t home. Rides in the car go well, but she isn’t comfortable with being lifted in and out. Once there, though, she is a great car dog.

Lacie is shy and may sometimes run from her fosters, so they consider her a flight risk at this time. Because of this, she would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard. Lacie is currently overweight but has already begun to lose those extra pounds. The walks with her fosters are really helping her waistline. This lovely lass will thrive in a calm environment filled with love and tenderness.

Dont forget to visit our informative website, www.almosthomeohio.org, for valuable information and interesting features.
