Lacie's Story

This absolutely adorable girl is Lacie! She came to us after being found running the streets, very pregnant. She has since had her babies and while they are still only about 4 weeks old, momma is ready to cut ties and have a life of her own!

She is guessed to be about 2 years old and is incredibly affectionate, the definition of a Velcro dog. She is great with kids/cats/dogs, and really just wants to be an active part of the family.

Lacie struggles with alone time (usually made better when another dog is around) and absolutely hates her kennel. She would much rather be out and about in the house. That being said, Lacie is a foodie and will snag any food she can find while romping around the house. Understandably so, as she was emaciated when found and since has given most of herself to her puppies!

Lacie is house trained, loves to snuggle, walks great on leash, and is happiest with a yummy chew bone. Her DNA came back almost half and half, Weim and pittie, and she weighs about 50 pounds.

An ideal home for Lacie would be one that is able to stimulate her mentally and who is home often. Walks are this girls best friend!

Bruno's Foundation's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based facility, meaning all of our animals are in homes, not a shelter environment. This allows us to get to know them better, and provide on one training for each animal. In order to limit the amount of people going in and out of our foster homes, we do require a filled out application prior to a meet and greet. We are a 501c3 non profit. All adoption donations are tax deductible! Please click the link on this page to fill out an application for adoption. Allow 48 hours for a reply, we only have one person who reviews applications so please be patient. A phone call will be scheduled should your application fit the needs of the pet you’re applying for. During this time, we will set up a meet and greet, then a home check (virtual or in person). We DO allow out of state adoptions however you will be required to travel to pick up, and this will depend on how the pet you’re applying for does with travel. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed prior to adoption.
