Lacie's Story

✨ Meet Lacie: Professional Snuggler, Adventure Buddy & Former Super-Mom ✨

Lacie’s story starts with her bravely surviving the streets—very pregnant—and ends with her babies thriving and momma officially ready to retire from motherhood and start living her best life. Her pups are still tiny (about 5 weeks old), but Lacie has made it very clear: it’s her turn now. 💁‍♀️

At around 2 years old, Lacie is the definition of a Velcro dog. If you’ve ever wanted a best friend who believes personal space is optional, she’s your girl. She adores kids, cats, dogs—basically anyone willing to love her back—and wants nothing more than to be part of every moment of family life.

Lacie does best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods (she prefers company—bonus points if there’s another dog). She wants a human who works from home, is home often, or loves bringing their dog along for daily adventures. Walks? Her favorite. Being included? Her dream job.

She’s food-motivated, eager to learn, and already house trained. She walks beautifully on leash, lives for snuggles, and considers a good chew bone a 5-star luxury item. 🦴
She also comes with her own crate—because traditional wire crates are basically escape rooms she’s already beaten. 😅

Lacie weighs about 50 pounds and is a nearly perfect mix of Weimaraner and Pit Bull, which means athletic, affectionate, and loyal to the core.

🏡 Lacie’s Ideal Home:
• Someone home often
• Mental stimulation & daily walks
• A family who wants a dog that’s truly part of the team

If you’re looking for a loving shadow, an enthusiastic walking partner, and a dog who will adore you with her whole heart—Lacie is waiting. 💖🐶

Bruno's Foundation's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based facility, meaning all of our animals are in homes, not a shelter environment. This allows us to get to know them better, and provide on one training for each animal. In order to limit the amount of people going in and out of our foster homes, we do require a filled out application prior to a meet and greet. We are a 501c3 non profit. All adoption donations are tax deductible! Please click the link on this page to fill out an application for adoption. Allow 48 hours for a reply, we only have one person who reviews applications so please be patient. A phone call will be scheduled should your application fit the needs of the pet you’re applying for. During this time, we will set up a meet and greet, then a home check (virtual or in person). We DO allow out of state adoptions however you will be required to travel to pick up, and this will depend on how the pet you’re applying for does with travel. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed prior to adoption.
