Bio:<br/><br/>Lacey is a 10-week, female, tiny, chi girl. She is soft, tan color and weighs less than three pounds. Lacey has had both, puppy one shots and puppy two shots. She was rescued with her mommy Candace. Candace was a community trailer park dog who just roamed the area and constantly got pregnant. When the people who lived in the park were seeking help to get rid of the babies, our rescue contact went to pick up Lacey puppy and the people asked us to take Candice as well. Both, mommy Candice and puppy Lacey are in the same foster home. Unfortunately, mommy is heartworm positive and will need treatment and recovery time. Lacey is a healthy puppy and ready for her forever home. Please remember, Lacey is only a few weeks old. She is not house trained, not leash trained and will require an abundance of love and patience. Adopting puppies is not for everyone as they are a lot of work in the beginning. If you are already aware of what it takes to raise a dog from a puppy, then Lacey is your girl. She is fun, affectionate, loves to play with all kinds of other dogs and is living in a foster home with two cats. Lacey is full of life and such a gorgeous little girl. She is truly precious. Lacey’s mommy is full grown and weighs eight pounds, so that gives you an idea of size. Lacey and Candice are together in one of the pictures so you can see what mommy looks like.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Adoption fee $400 and a $100 spay deposit which will be refunded at six months at time of spay.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Rescue is accepting applications within a 50 mile radius of Sarasota.
