Meet LaRaine! <br/><br/>If LaRaine could design her perfect day, we're pretty sure it would involve people, playtime and her very own swimming pool! This beautiful 8-month-old, 36-pound Black Mouth Cur mix is a happy, energetic youngster with a gorgeous fawn coat, striking black mask and a personality every bit as appealing as her looks.<br/><br/>Our photographer described LaRaine simply as a "super fun girl," and that seems to fit her perfectly. She had a wonderful time outside exploring and playing, but the kiddie pool was definitely the highlight. LaRaine didn't just dip her paws in-she happily jumped right in, splashed around and eventually stretched out in the water as though she'd found her own private resort. This girl LOVES water!<br/><br/>LaRaine has plenty of puppy energy and would enjoy an active home where she can play, explore and join her people for adventures. But we also saw something important during her photo session: she knows how to settle down. After all that excitement, she was perfectly happy to relax in the grass, enjoy some attention and flash that enormous LaRaine smile.<br/><br/>And friendly? Absolutely. LaRaine enjoys being around people, welcomes affection and was comfortable being handled by the volunteers. She's a cheerful, social young dog who seems ready to make friends and have fun wherever she goes.<br/><br/>At only 8 months old, LaRaine still has some growing and learning ahead of her, but she's at a wonderful age to become someone's adventure buddy and beloved family companion.
