Kyra's Story

**If interested, please do not send us a message through PetFinder. Instead, please go to our website to fill out an application: www.projectpawsdogrescue.com**

Kyra is a sweet, social, smart bundle of energy ready to explode into play at all times. She's a 2 month old Husky puppy, coming to us as an owner surrender.

Whether it's playing with her foster brothers, fur or humans, or trying to garner the attention of her foster mom while she's working, she will give a little bow and chirp and remind you it's always a good time for playtime! Kyra is happy to play with her chew toys but prepare to have many—she loves to play tug of war but the softer toys don't last too long! The "super chewer" toys will have better longevity.

She has great hunter skills, so she loves to explore, dig and find that treasured squeak that's hidden inside toys or her favourite is your toes! But she is very smart and will no doubt be easy to train with patience and consistency. She knows to sit to go in or outdoors but is still working on her housetraining.

She is also a natural clock; be prepared with her meals and wake up on time as she has no snooze button! Kyra is great with kids, the big dogs, (we haven't met any smaller ones yet but she has Big Dog Energy!) shows interest in the cats, watching them through the playpen wondering why they aren't joining in to play.

Kyra is great in her crate but likes to sleep with some calming "doggy lullabies" playing for her if she's not ready for bed when you are.

If you're interested in adopting or learning more about Kyra, please submit an application.
