Kuzco's Story

Kuzco is a 2-year-old sweetheart who has been working hard and absolutely thriving. He’s now fantastic on a leash, enjoys daily morning hikes, and has learned some great manners. What a glow-up!

Kuzco is a social guy who plays beautifully with dogs of all sizes and does great in group settings like Ruff Life.

When it comes to playtime, Kuzco has opinions: balls = yes please, stuffy toys = meh.
He’s active, playful, and would love a home that enjoys getting outside and having fun together.

Overall, Kuzco is a loving, adventurous boy who continues to impress us every day. He’s ready for a home that will keep building on all the great progress he’s made — and maybe throw a few balls along the way.

All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter.” This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
