Kuzco's Story

Kuzco is a young, male Husky mix with energy for DAYS!! He loves to play with tennis balls and frisbees - just don't expect him to give them back! Kuzco could use a refresher on proper doggy manners, but has been pretty good here at the shelter. He seems curious about other dogs, so bring your resident pup for a Meet & Greet if you're interested in adding another furry family member to the pack! This guy gets very excited about cats, so a home without smaller animals would probably be best. Until Kuzco can learn that not everyone wants a hug, he would do better in a home with older children who are more difficult to knock over.

Heber Valley Animal Services's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is very simple! Come in and meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a good fit, you will fill out an Adoption/Sterilization Contract, pay the adoption fee and take your new furry friend home that day! Our adoptions are done on a first come first served basis, so we typically don't place holds on animals (unless the adopters are having to travel to come and adopt the animal). We can do Meet & Greets with other dogs in the residence if needed also! We also offer microchips at an additional cost and can microchip your new pet before you leave (it takes a matter of minutes)! We welcome out-of-state adoptions as well!
