She luckily crossed paths with one of our rescue friends who took her in and got her vetted. Our rescue friend helps SO many dogs in need, so NELR was happy to help them find this little sweetie a forever home up here in New England. She was originally named "Angel" but quickly earned the new nickname "Kush" after showing her love for all things cushy and comfy, and she will curl up in them every chance she gets! It also matches her sweet personality that is soft, gentle, and wants to be surrounded by comfort and love. She gets along well with everyone, including cats, but would enjoy the less loud/more predictable company of slightly older kiddos. She also gets along with other dogs but would be delighted to be an only-dog to really get that pampered life with all the pats, beds, toys, and attention for once

She is going to be so fun to spoil! Kush is loving home and family life and is potty & crate trained, but is still young and would do great with some basic positive reinforcement training to help her grow into the best family member as well as strengthen your bond together. She is ready to bring love, joy, and a whole lot of cuddles and comfort to her forever family!

Does Kush sound like the sweetie for you?

Fill out an adoption application today!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. New England Lab Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process... Our goal is to find the best match based on the Lab’s background and the family’s needs. The temperament and energy level of the dog are our most important consideration. We also consider factors in the home, including the ages of children, ages of pets in the home, and other types of pets in the home. When we have an appropriate rescue Lab in a foster home, the placement coordinator will discuss the rescue Lab in detail with the applicant, or the applicant may talk directly with the foster “parent”. We want our adoptions to be 100% successful! Requirements • Adopters must complete an application. • If, for any reason, the adoption is not satisfactory, the Lab must be returned to NELR as stated in the Adoption Agreement. • New England Lab Rescue reserves the right to take possession of a rescue Lab that is
