Kune's Story

~DOB: 8/1/2024
Energy Level: Moderate
Overall Drive: Low
Location: Puyallup, WA
Kune Your Very Own Mrs. Doubtfire in Dog Form
Hellooooooo, dearies! If youve ever wished for a four-legged Mrs. Doubtfire to lovingly supervise your household, offer gentle emotional support, and occasionally turn everyday objects into toys, look no further than Kune!
Kune is the definition of a darling. With moderate energy, low drive, and a heart the size of the Pacific Northwest, shes happiest curling up on the couch beside you, preferably while offering wise, nurturing glances like a canine nanny in a floral dress. But shes also always up for a good round of fetch, because even Mrs. Doubtfire liked to have a bit of fun, dear!
Shes fabulous with dogs, sweet with small children, and wonderfully gentle around cats and even ducks. Curious? Yes. A threat? Absolutely not. Shes far too busy perfecting her polite, loving house manners and practicing her nanny duties (which currently include following her foster dad everywhere and helping with laundry sometimes by removing it directly from the dryer).
Kune is goofy, affectionate, easily entertained, and incredibly friendly, though she does warm up to men slightly quicker than women. Out in the world, shes well-mannered, social, and treat-motivated. Noise? No issue. Car rides? A delight, so long as she isnt allowed to take the wheel (your insurance would prefer she doesnt).
Shes kennel trained at night, though she can get sassy if other dogs walk by her space. Once out, she flips into full happy playtime mode. Shes learning quickly - sit is mastered, and shes working on down, recall, heel, fetch, and even assisting her fosters disabled husband with small tasks. Right now, she thinks his cane is a chew toy, but shes learning to retrieve it instead.
Her ideal home? A family with multiple people and plenty of love to give. Shes gentle, cuddly, eager to learn, good with pets, great with kids, and a total attention sponge. With her empathy and desire to please, she has real service-dog potential, especially for emotional support or deep pressure therapy.
If you want a loving companion with charm, sweetness, and just a touch of comedic flair - run-by-fruiting not included - Kune is your girl.
