Meet Kruger! <br/><br/>Kruger is a Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 15 pounds and estimated to be 1-2 years old. His story begins in a very dark place, one no dog should ever have to endure. When he first arrived in foster care, he was absolutely terrified. He was so frightened that he wouldn't even allow anyone to touch him.<br/><br/>But with gentle love, patience, and a safe place to land, Kruger has blossomed into the sweetest, most loyal little guy you could hope to meet. He adores his people and forms deep, meaningful bonds. He does still take some time to warm up to new faces, but once he feels safe, he'll happily come out of hiding to soak up every bit of affection he can get.<br/><br/>While he currently sleeps in his crate at night, he would much prefer to snuggle in bed, burrowing under the blankets like it's his fulltime job. He's wonderful with other dogs, especially in his foster home, and he does great with kitties too.<br/><br/>After everything he's survived, Kruger deserves a home that will cherish him the way he deserves. His start may have been rough, but this boy is pure gold.
