Kristy 's Story
Kristy is a total sweetheart with all the classic Heeler personality you’d expect. She's intelligent, loyal, active, and still very much in her puppy phase. She’s a high-energy girl who loves to play, explore, and keep herself busy. You will rarely see her without a toy in her mouth, and she thinks every toy was made to be proudly carried around (or destroyed!).

Kristy is potty-trained and loves using the doggy door. She does well on leash and is kennel trained for bedtime or when you’re out of the house, even though the kennel isn’t her favorite place.

She gets along great with other dogs, but could also thrive as an only dog. What matters most to Kristy is being near her people. She is also good with respectful children, as long as they understand that she can be protective of her toys and that she needs space when she’s enjoying them. She isn’t very food motivated, but she takes treats gently and has a sweet, respectful demeanor.

Kristy would be a perfect fit for an active home that’s ready to embrace her playful spirit and keep her busy with walks, toys, and love.

This 1.5-year-old beauty is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is currently taking flea and heartworm preventative, has a long tail, and weighs 38lbs.
