Kris's Story

Meet newly named, Kris who has been on the run in W.Va for three weeks. He crosses a highway to a gas station where they feed him but were unable to catch him. We finally got the right lady to help who set up a trap which successfully snagged the friendly, but elusive dog who is now safe. Kris is just shy of 60 lbs. and is estimated to be around a 2-years old. His disarming smile and easy disposition give off a “chill vibe”, but make no mistake, Kris is still regarded as a flight risk.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
