Kota's Story

Introducing Kota!
Kota is a very sweet boy whose very good on a leash.. Kota knows numerous commands, such as sit and paw, and is doing very well working with our dog trainer twice a week. Kota has Addison's disease, which is a hormone deficiency that leads to low production of cortisol. Kota will need daily medication (which he takes very easily inside a pill pocket) and a monthly injection to regulate his hormone level. However, his illness does not stop kota from loving long walks and playing outside. Kota has made tremendous progress while at the shelter and will make the right adopter extremely happy. You can visit this wonderful boy at Milford Animal Shelter, 664 East Broadway (Silver Sands Park), Milford, CT, Monday through Friday 11am - 4:30pm or on Saturdays between 10am - 4pm.
Cost: 155$
Age: 5 Years
Weight: 64 Pounds
