During the state mandated shelter-in-place order BACS has transitioned to virtual, socially-distanced adoptions.
If you have an interest in a particular BACS animal, please email KSwanson@cityofberkeley.info. The first step will be to set up a virtual meeting with their current foster family via phone, zoom, or facetime, to provide you with more detailed information about the animal. Following that, if you feel like it could be a good adoption fit, shelter staff will help coordinate a socially-distanced meeting in person so that you can meet your potential family member up-close and personal. Hi! I'm Konrad. I'm a friendly and playful pup looking for my forever home. My favorite things are playing ball, pulling squeakers out of toys, cuddling, and going for runs. I am super smart, housetrained, and eager to please. I would do best with an active family that's ready to give me lots of attention and exercise. I will also need structure with crating, etc, since I get very worried when I am separated from my people. I can live in a home with another adult dog but probably shouldn't live with cats. I am an active and intelligent dog who will thrive in a home where I can receive consistency, a stable routine and ongoing training.
