Kona is a handsome, gentle male; he was found with two littermates huddled under concrete blocks at a construction site. Bleeding, crawling with fleas and ticks, and fighting to survive. They were rushed to the vet. They're anemic and had hookworms, roundworms, and coccidia with raw bleeding skin. Just babies. Kona is now 7 months old and been in foster care, where he is healthy and happy. He is smart, sweet, dog and people friendly, perhaps a tad shy at first. Just awaiting a loving family. <br/><br/>All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
