Kona's Story
Kona is still waiting for his forever home. He is a 4 year old mix breed.... we are thinking either Boxador or Pit mix. Whatever he is he is sweet. When he first came into rescue he had a lot to learn. Since being in foster he has become friends with every other dog in the house. It took time to teach him it was okay to share things. Now we have no problems. He does come off shy to new people but once he knows you all he wants is to be your best friend. He is startled easily, so because of this we are suggesting no super young kids and a fenced in yard would suit him incase he gets spooked. His favorite thing to do is lay and chew on a bone. He loves to chase tennis balls but will chew them up if you dont take it back. Kona is a bigger guy.... weighing in at 80 pounds. He is housebroke, kennel trained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $135.
