Kona's Story

Lower Fees!
This German Shepherd mix named Kona was surrendered to us through no fault of his own and is now looking for his permanent family. One of our Hope dogs, 3 years old and 56 pounds, this majestic boy is true to his breed. Curious, playful, stubborn and smart as a whip, he’s super food motivated which makes his training a breeze! With a little patience and training, Kona will be the perfect addition to your family. He’s a working breed with herding instincts and so must learn that he doesn’t have to herd people around the house. Other jobs will give him the outlet for this. We recommend that Kona’s new family is familiar with the breed and that all kids in the house are 12 years old or more. (Hope, 10/4/25)
'You can learn more about our Hope Dog program here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/adopt/hope-dogs .'
Lower Fees!
Adoption: $150.00
Transport: $100.00
