Meet Kona, a loving and playful girl searching for her forever home through Texas Cattle Dog Rescue! Kona loves her toys, often carrying them around the house with joy. She's a big love in a tiny package, ready to bring happiness to your life.

Kona was previously adopted through TCDR, but sadly, her owner unexpectedly passed away. At TCDR, we promise to take our dogs back no matter what. We happily welcomed Kona back and are dedicated to finding her the perfect home again.

After losing her owner, Kona has shown remarkable resilience, keeping her heart open and ready to share love with her new family. She greets every new person with enthusiastic butt wiggles and cozy snuggles, making friends wherever she goes. Kona loves people of all ages and sizes and especially enjoys walks and adventures with her people. With all her good-girl manners, she's an all-around great girl!

Currently, Kona is with The Texas Dogfather, making fantastic progress in socializing with other dogs. She’s comfortable with low-energy dogs. We are incredibly proud of and impressed with her progress. Kona has also wowed the trainers and has quickly become their favorite! She also comes with a unique gift for her future family: training transfer lessons to ensure a smooth transition and help you both bond.

At almost 8 years young, Kona is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. She’s ready to bring all her love and joy to a forever home. If you’re looking for a great heeler with all the smarts, loyalty, and affection, Kona would be the perfect addition to your life!

Our adoption fees: puppies under 1 year old $350; adults 1-7 years old $300; seniors 8+ years old $150; seniors for seniors 8+ years old, adopters 60+ $100. Our dogs will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested before going to a new home. We conduct a home visit to help match up the right dog with the right owner.
