Kona's Story

Kona is one of Mama Maui's three lucky puppies who made it to safety just in time. Found in freezing conditions on the Red Lake Reservation, Kona is now thriving in foster care - warm, fed, and growing fast. Kona has a striking black muzzle and a curious, observant personality. He is already showing signs of confidence and sweetness as he begins to explore the world around him. He is gaining weight, and developing right on track. Like his siblings, Kona is being raised in a loving foster home where he's getting the best possible start in life. He will continue to grow, learn, and build confidence under his mama's watchful eye until he's ready for his forever home. Kona will be available for adoption starting January 12. Kona's adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are.
