Meet Kolbie Jack! <br/><br/>This sweet terrier mix is about 6 months old and full of fun with just a dash of sass. Kolbie was owner surrendered when his mom had to move in with family, and now hes ready for a fresh start with a family of his own.<br/><br/>Kolbie needs an active home with people ready to enjoy life with him kids would be a huge bonus! He's smart, playful, and would love someone willing to teach him fun tricks and even how to play fetch. He is doing great with potty training and will even use a pee pad if you're not quite fast enough getting him outside. We dont think he got much time to enjoy the outdoors in his first home, so everything is an adventure now.<br/><br/>This happy boy loves snuggling in bed with his foster at night and enjoys having little conversations throughout the day that are guaranteed to make you smile. He gets along well with dogs his size and smaller. Bigger dogs can make him a little spicy if they invade what he thinks is his personal space.<br/><br/>Its summer, and Kolbie Jack is ready for a family that wants an amazing companion to train, love, and make memories with.<br/><br/>Come meet this special boy Saturday from 112! . South Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy
The South Plains SPCA believes that adopting an animal is a forever decision that should not be taken lightly.  We expect our adopters to be committed to loving our animals for the rest of their lives.   Adoption events are held every Saturday at 8901 Highway 87, Building 119, Lubbock, TX. Dog adoptions take place from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and cat adoptions are 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. While not all of our animals come every weekend, our volunteers will be more than happy to talk to you about the animals you are interested in.  You can also send an e-mail to adoptions.spspca@gmail.com regarding any of our animals that you are interested in making a forever member of your family.  Meetings can be arranged outside of our Saturday adoption event, usually on Monday evenings for dogs and Wednesday evenings for cats.   We have an adoption application that must be filled our.  The adoption fee varies and is dependent on whether the pet is a dog or cat and age of the pet. The adoption fee covers the dog/cat being spayed or neutered, current vaccinations, heartworm/tick screening, and microchipped.  Indoor homes are preferred.
