Koko's Story

Koko A181717
28 lb. spayed female, approx 10 months old

-This lively girl is a joyful bundle of energy who brings big puppy vibes everywhere she goes 🐾 On leash she's bouncy and twirly, full of enthusiasm and excitement, and will benefit from a little practice and guidance as she grows.

-She's incredibly affectionate and wastes no time climbing into laps for pets, attention, and plenty of sweet kisses. Treat-motivated and eager, she takes treats nicely and shows lots of potential for training -- even if she doesn't quite know what "sit" means yet. Toys aren't holding her interest at the moment, but people definitely do!

-She appears to be a high-energy, working-breed type who will thrive with structure, training, and an active lifestyle. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, this smart, loving pup is sure to shine. If you're looking for an affectionate companion who's ready to learn and keep you moving, she may be your perfect match.

-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
