Koji's Story

Koji may be short on stature but he is BIG on personality! High-energy, wicked-smart, and endlessly eager to please, Koji is the perfect companion for someone who wants a true partner in crime—whether that means morning runs, weekend hikes, learning new tricks, or just keeping the backyard squirrel-free. He’s house-trained, kennel-savvy, knows his basic commands, and responds beautifully to training.
A professional trainer who worked with Koji called him a “lottery dog”—the kind of pup people search for but rarely find. In just one session, Koji went from over-eager and under-structured to calm, focused, and thriving. Koji would do best in an active home that can offer both physical activity and mental enrichment. He’s got classic herding-dog focus and prey drive, so no small animals or young kids for this guy. He prefers to be the center of attention and would thrive as an only dog or with a calm, easygoing canine sibling. He’s affectionate, attentive, and deeply connected once he bonds with his people. Could that be you?

Koji is neutered, UTD on vaccines, 35 pounds, and available for adoption in the Greater Houston TX area. If you think Koji would be a good match, fill out an application and let's find out!
