Meet Kodiak

Kodiak was brought into the shelter as a very skinny, hungry dog. After a few weeks, she’s gained a good amount of weight and is feeling great! Kodiak is a very sweet and loving dog! She loves attention and loves to be the center of attention! Kodiak does good with kids, and seems to do good with other dogs as well! She has beautiful blue eyes and a mostly white coat!

Update 12/1/23: Kodiak is besties with Sage who is already adopted! (See video) Kodiak does great with any dog and is extremely playful with them! She’s waiting to be you, and your dog’s, new best friend!

Update 12/13/23: Sage has been returned to us, and although we'd love to see her in a home, Kodiak was SO HAPPY that her bestie is back! She is very excited to play with her!

Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
