Koda's Story

Koda is a sweet, older gentleman with a big heart and a gentle soul. He loves people and thinks he's a lap dog, happily curling up close for cuddles on lazy days. Despite his age, he still has a bit of pep for walks, car rides, and the occasional fetch or soft toy. He's completely house trained, knows a few commands like sit and paw, and politely takes treats. Koda does well when left alone and enjoys greeting you warmly when you return.

Koda is great with children and enjoys being around people. He does not enjoy being confined in a small space and isn't a fan of snow or extreme cold.

His foster says "Koda has been such a sweet, friendly old man during his time with me. He has a very gentle and affectionate personality and truly enjoys being around people. He loves attention and will happily stay close by, soaking up pets and companionship whenever he can. He really enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that's going for a nice walk or simply relaxing outside. When the sun is out, Koda especially loves to sunbathe and can often be found lounging peacefully in a warm spot, enjoying the fresh air. Even though he's a senior, he still has his playful moments. Every now and then he'll surprise you with a burst of energy and get the zoomies, which is always fun to see. Overall, Koda is a calm, loving companion who brings a lot of warmth and sweetness wherever he goes. Koda is mostly easygoing and content, but he does have one clear preference, he's not a fan of going outside when it's rainy or snowing. When the weather isn't ideal, he'd much rather stay cozy inside. His friendly, people-loving nature really shines through with everyone he meets"
