He's a dog, cat and human lover and he's ready to be your co-pilot on every adventure!<br/><br/>Koda turned a year old on February 13th. He was originally born in our care to his sweet mama that was found as a stray and stuck at animal control heavily pregnant. He was 1 of 4 adorable pups that we believe to be a mix of Lab, Beagle and possibly some other hound. Unfortunately, due to no fault of his own, Koda was returned to us. <br/><br/>He's adjusted well in his new foster home and bonded tightly with his humans! Koda is already crate and potty trained and is truly a very well trained dog at only a year old. He does not jump up on people, doesn't counter surf, listens intently and truly aims to please! If you ask this boy to stay and go to the other room, he will still be sitting and waiting in the same spot you left him, no matter how long you disappear. He loves to play fetch and brings whatever you throw right back to your feet. Want him to sit and wait while you chuck his favorite ball across the yard? Yup, he'll wait until you tell him otherwise. He has phenomenal recall and is currently allowed off leash on a property with several acres. When he hears his name, he's running for you! He also has responded well to an e-collar...one beep and he's at your feet. He's eager to follow his favorite people wherever they go and do what they ask. He's impressed us endlessly!<br/><br/>Koda would love another dog to romp around with all day and loves to rough house with other playful pups but he'd also thrive as a single pup with a family who is active and wants a friendly, loving and SMART boy to share all their adventures with! He's got the most well rounded personality to match his giant smile! And he is SO GOOD with children! We know his perfect family is out there and Koda is patiently waiting, like the intelligent and obedient boy he is!<br/><br/>Koda's adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm/tick borne illness testing, dewormings and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
