Koda's Story

Meet Koda - Your Future Adventure Buddy!

Hi there! I'm Koda - a fun-loving, sun-chasing, bubble-popping girl with a big heart and even bigger energy! I'm 1 year and 5 months young, weigh 62 lbs, spayed, and I'm ready to find a forever home where I can run, play, and snuggle to my heart's content.

I absolutely LOVE being outside - running around the yard, splashing in my doggie pool and sprinkler mat, and catching bubbles in the sunshine. I'd make an awesome boat dog and would be thrilled to tag along on all your outdoor adventures. After all the fun, I'm just as happy to cuddle up with you on the couch or bed. At night, I sleep peacefully in my kennel, and I'm 100% potty trained and kennel trained!

I enjoy daily walks through the neighborhood, know fun tricks like roll over, shake, and sit pretty, and I'm a big fan of chew toys and bones. I have a moderate-to-high energy level and love being close to my humans - I'll even quietly chew my bone nearby while you shower!

I currently live with a teenage girl and adore her - teens and older kids would be a great match for me! I haven't lived with small children, but I've seen them on walks and haven't had any issues.

Important info: I'm looking for a home where I can be the only dog, or possibly live with a mellow male dog after a proper introduction. I had a rough patch with another dominant female dog in my home when I came into heat, and for everyone's safety, we've been kept separated since. My humans love me deeply and are heartbroken to rehome me, but they know I deserve a home where I can thrive without stress or conflict.

If you're looking for a sweet, active, and loyal companion to share your adventures and your heart, I'm your girl!

Questions? My people would be happy to chat more and tell you all about me. Let's set up a meet & greet!

Koda is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program. All iRehome dogs are being rehomed by their current owner. All iRehome behavioral and medical information is provided by the dog's current owner. TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with the current owner prior to completing the adoption process.
