Look no further! <br/>This handsome boy is Koda! He is approximately 2 years old and has been with us since May 21st 2021. He came in as a stray so we don’t know much about his past, what we do know is he’s a very happy and energetic pup who doesn’t deserve to grow up in a kennel. <br/>Koda is an extremely smart dog who is willing to please his handler. He learns quickly and is very treat motivated. <br/>Koda does need to be an only pet and placed into a home with older (14 years +) respectful children/ adult only home. <br/>He has some food guarding behavior. We have trained him to do this routine :<br/>“back” (he backs up), <br/>“sit”, <br/>“Wait” (we lower his food dish), <br/>and “go ahead” (once he has patiently waited and made eye contact) <br/>This is routine is done every time he is fed. Once his food bowl is empty he doesn’t care about it anymore and it can very safely be picked up.<br/>He is not possessive over treats or toys.<br/>This energetic guy would thrive with someone willing to do training with him. He knows some basic commands but he loves to learn and it would really help him bond with his new owner(s) and would help him get use to living in a home. <br/>Koda is up to date on vaccines and deworming.
