Koby's Story
If you are looking for a constant companion and the best fetcher there has ever been, look no further than Koby! Though it can take some time for him to warm up, once he feels comfortable with you-he is the most loyal! Koby can definitely be a bit demanding of your attention and is not hesitant to vocalize when he’s feeling ‘neglected’ , but as long as you give him some pets + a little snuggle time, Koby is content to chill! Koby is super smart and easily redirected when he's found himself in the middle of some sort of mischief! Koby loves to sit on your lap and give you kisses. He is also an expert at giving 'sea lion' eyes <3.

Koby has the shiniest, softest, prettiest brindle coat, and weighs about 17.5 lbs. Though he is predominantly Chihuahua, we can’t help but assume some other magical creature has to be mixed in there!

Koby has done well with dogs, with cats, and with humans- but he can be very wary of males and people he doesn’t know (it is all bark though ;)). Koby can be a bit territorial when food is present, and can get a bit possessive when other animals are receiving affection, so we feel he will do best as an only-dog, that way he knows he never has to compete! We aren’t sure of how he is with kids, but feel he would likely be just as loyal and loving toward them once a sound relationship is established! With his tendency towards vocalness, Koby is not suited to an apartment or multi-family setting.

Koby is neutered and up-to-date on shots. His recent neuter (performed on 1/13/2022) has definitely helped with his excessive marking, but we are still very much working on his house-training, and he will need someone with an overabundance of patience and a steadfast commitment to this cause :)).
