Meet Kobe! <br/><br/>After 12 years with the only family he’s ever known, this 13-year-old Shih Poo found himself surrendered to the shelter when his people could no longer afford his care. He arrived confused, heartbroken, and trying to understand how his whole world could change so suddenly.<br/><br/>Kobe is a gentle, well-loved soul. He’s reported to have done beautifully with small children, enjoyed time with other dogs at the park, and loved being part of his community. Even now, in the middle of upheaval, his sweetness and social spirit still shine through.<br/><br/>He does need a dental for a painful, yucky mouth ~ but overall, he appears to be in good shape. He’s agile, playful, and clearly still enjoying life. He was a little unsure about being picked up and during his bath, but he handled it with quiet tolerance and only the tiniest grumbles.<br/><br/>Kobe, you’ve lost so much, but you haven’t lost your future.
