Kobe's Story

Kobe is a beautiful 3-year-old boy who we believe is a mix of Shih Tzu and Pug. One thing we know for sure is that he is undeniably cute. Weighing around 16 pounds, he loves to play and gets along well with both kids and other friendly dogs. Kobe is a perfect little lap dog who thrives on affection and enjoys curling up on laps. He is incredibly cuddly and playful, with playtime being a vital part of his daily routine. His favorite activities include chasing a ball, wrestling, and playing with other dogs. Kobe responds well to his name, knows how to sit on command, and typically comes when called, especially if treats are involved. He adores walks and spending time with his people. Kobe is house trained, and crate trained and night. He sleeps in his fosters room.

Kobe can be a bit stubborn and occasionally anxious. He would do best in an environment that is not chaotic as he picks up the energy of his people.
He is good on a leash when walked in a confident manner, if walked with someone who is more nervous, maybe due to his history when before he knew him, he becomes very alert and will become nervous and bark.

The fosters who have him say he is an excellent walker and can’t wait to go. Kobe likes to talk and is vocal dog. He is a good watch dog when he sees someone outside, he will bark if he hears someone on the porch. He enjoys having a job and thrives when he has one. He needs to be groomed regularly and we believe he should not go swimming as he is prone to ear infections if they get wet inside.
All floppy ear dogs have this issue.

He sleeps soundly in his pen throughout the night and is a happy-go-lucky boy who enjoys engaging with you.

Apply at pawsfurhope.org/adopt
Home visit required.
