Klaus's Story
UPDATED BIO

Meet Klaus - Your New Adventure Buddy (and Professional Snuggler)

Klaus is a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois who has quickly stolen our hearts. He's about 70 pounds of curiosity, sweetness, and tennis-ball obsessed. If he can carry a ball around, he absolutely will.

This young guy loves getting out for walks and exploring everything around him. His leash manners are getting better every day while being in training with JPK9 Oklahoma!

Once he's outside, he's confident, alert, and excited to see the world! The trainers are ensuring that he understands not to pull and be able to listen to his handler when they communicate with him.

Inside, Klaus flips the switch. Sit with him for a moment and he melts right into you-leaning in for pets, soaking up attention, and settling calmly at your side. He's crate trained, travels well in a kennel, and is easy to handle for routine care.

Klaus is working on being able to meet new people calmly and gain confidence so he has less reactivity with people when he is feeling vulnerable.

He is friendly with other dogs when introduced properly, he would do best with bigger dogs and not small dogs. As he has quite the prey drive when smaller animals come into his focus! With structure and continued introductions, he'll only keep getting better.

If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who's ready for both adventure and downtime, Klaus is waiting to meet you.

His training program will come with FREE weekly Sunday group classes to keep up with his skills, and FREE private lessons all for the life of the dog! If you adopt Klaus we highly recommend keeping up with his skills!

We will have more info on how he is with kiddos soon!

Please apply at www.oklahomagsr.org
If you are already approved to adopt, send us an email at oklahomagsr@gmail.com to set up a meet and greet
