KJ's Story

KJ

10 YO

45 Pounds

Dog Friendly

Crate & Leash Trained

Fostered in Portland, OR

Hi, I'm KJ! I am a sweet older gal that has the heart and playfulness of a teenager. I am everything you know and love about a boxer; goofy, loving, and always looking to put a smile on your face. I'm an outgoing girl that will take no time settling into my forever home. Since I am an older and wiser gal that is comfortable in my own skin, I could do well in a home as a single dog, or with larger dogs who match my energy level. I have tried to make friends with my foster kitties, but my size and energy can be intimidating so a home with no cats or small animals may be best, unless they are savvy to a dog like me. I do well in my crate when my foster family isn't home and I sleep peacefully in there at night. My most favorite thing is snuggle time, but I also appreciate a nice walk or a game of fetch. I have been working really hard on leash skills and social interactions. Don't let the gray hairs fool you, I am a sweet lady that has a lot of love and energy to give to my next special family! I am ready to be your next companion, so click my link so we can meet.

If you would like to adopt her, fill out an adoption application on our website www.nwboxerrescue.org

Like us on facebook for more photos of this pretty girl, as well as other boxers we have available! www.facebook.com/northwestboxerrescue

Northwest Boxer Rescue's Adoption Policy
We'd like to tell you about our Adoption Process. First, all of us at Northwest Boxer Rescue are volunteers and no one is paid. We do the best that we can to respond as timely as possible, but we also have dogs, children, spouses, jobs, families, and homes - just like you. So, please be patient with us. Completing an application is the first step in adopting a boxer from NWBR. We try to respond to the request as soon as possible and contact you by phone once we have received the application. Tell us what dog you are interested in on the application. We are glad to answer any questions you have. We want to get to know you and make sure the dog you adopt is the right wiggle butt, not just a dog. It is not only important that you will be happy with your new family member but that your new family member has found their perfect forever home. Many of our dogs come from rough backgrounds and deserve great homes. We spend a lot of time with these guys and try very hard to get to know them as we
