I can't wait to meet you all! But first, let me tell you a little bit about me! My name is Kiwi and I have the very best fold-over ears and spotty paws around! I LOVE playtime, whether that means a romp around the yard, a wrestle with a toy, or a tug with my person! Now puppies can have a bit of energy for play, but we tire quickly! When all that activity is done...I want to be your very best snuggle buddy! Looking for a friend to greet you with a happy heart and a wagging tail? ME! Looking for a bestie to cuddle in for an evening of Netflix? ME! Looking for a walking partner? Yep....it's ME,too! I am hard at work learning all my important homelife skills, and my foster says I am an easygoing pup who excels at affection and adapts quickly to change! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can! Sweet kisses, warm cuddles and happy tail wags-Kiwi **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
