Kiwi's Story
AGE: 9 weeks (as of 3/28/26)
WEIGHT: 11.5 lbs

One look into those hazel eyes and you will see a sweet, trusting pup. Kiwi was born in a foster’s home and spent the first eight weeks with her mom and five siblings and the foster’s dog. She loves toys and sticks, running in the yard, curling up on a dog bed and snuggling with her humans.

Kiwi is a freckle-faced sweetie who absolutely loves to ambush her brother Kow. Play consists of somersaults, flips, classic play bows and cat smacks throughout the day, followed by crash and burn naps, preferably next to you.

Kiwi is quiet through the night, progressing well with house training and some basic commands (outside, sit, come) and recently started harness and leash training. Kiwi is great with other dogs and humans of all ages. Make her yours and she will reward you with so much love.

The K litter's mom Koba came to us pregnant from our rescue partner in Tennessee. They were born on 1/24/26.

HOW TO ADOPT:

THIS dog is NOT in the shelter. For puppies in foster care, you MUST submit an application via EMAIL to smpetfinder@gmail.com. Please note in the email subject which puppy you are interested in.

Go to: http://www.smallmiraclesrescue.org
and click "How to Adopt". There you will find the dog application available for download.

The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready.

Adoption Fees:

Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed.

Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.
