Hi! My name is Kit! You know, like the fox!

I’m 7 pounds of cute, cuddly, and curious, and I’m ready to get into some mischief with my family!

Get to know me…

Age: 10 months old

Hobbies: Zooming around the yard (snow doesn’t stop me), finding all the food, jumping on the coffee table, playing with toys, eating ice cubes and icicles, jumping up to give nose boops, and snuggling with the humans

Good with dogs? I live with other small dogs but don’t really initiate much play with them. I haven’t met a bigger dog yet but I’m open to it. I’d probably be okay in a home on my own too.

Good with cats? I’ve never met one!

Good with kids? I don’t currently live with kids but I may be okay with older, dog savvy children. I’m a bit tentative with new people so living with young kids would probably freak me out.

Working on: I am getting the hang of potty training and am doing pretty dang good! I already know that I get a treat for going outside and I even know how to “sit”! Because of my small size, I might need a potty pad by the door just in case! I’m also getting used to being on leash and going where the people go.

Home type: I’d prefer a home on the quieter side. Although I’m fairly chill when left alone, sometimes I chirp (literally, I sound like a bird). I also bark at all the things so, although I’d make a great watchdog, I’m not so much a shared walls girl. I’d also love to have a fenced in backyard so I can zoom zoom uninhibited!

I know there are lots of Chihuahuas out there, but with this red hair and these green eyes, forget about it! You’ll fall for me quicker than you can say fox!

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
