He greets everyone like they’re his best friend, though he’s still learning his manners. Confident and social, Kirk isn’t shy around new dogs or cats and absolutely loves to run and wrestle with other playful dogs.<br/><br/>Growing up on the reserves, Kirk never knew when his next meal would come, which has made him very food motivated and highly trainable. He does best with a slow feeder to help manage his enthusiasm around meal time.<br/><br/>Kirk would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks and adventures. Kirk is good with cats and enjoys children, but we feel he is currently too rambunctious for very small children, as he can jump up or be mouthy when excited and during play. Children 10+ would be best suited. <br/><br/>Overall, Kirk is a confident, sweet, and energetic.
