Thanks to our wonderful partners, he was safely picked up. When we couldn’t secure a flight angel for this handsome boy, he made the journey to Hamilton via Cargojet last week. Now, it’s Kirk’s turn to find his forever home! 🏡<br/><br/>Kirk is an adorable, high energy 7 month old puppy with the heart of a lion. He greets everyone like they’re his best friend, though he’s still learning his manners. Confident and social, Kirk isn’t shy around new dogs or cats and absolutely loves to run and wrestle with other playful dogs.<br/><br/>Growing up on the reserves, Kirk never knew when his next meal would come, which has made him very food motivated and highly trainable. He does best with a slow feeder to help manage his enthusiasm around meal time.<br/><br/>Kirk’s ideal home includes a big, cozy human bed because snuggles are non-negotiable for this guy! He would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks and adventures with a fenced in backyard for ample zoomies! Kirk is good with cats and enjoys children, but we feel he is currently too rambunctious for very small children, as he can jump up or be mouthy when excited and during play. Children 10+ would be best suited. Kirk can be very vocal when playing with other dogs and can be chatty with excitement when his foster family returns home from<br/>Work. Condo living is not for this boy. <br/><br/>Overall, Kirk is a confident, sweet, energetic puppy with a healthy dash of sass.
