Kirin's Story
FAST FACTS:
*1.5 years - 33 lbs
*Dog Friendly
*Kid Friendly
*Potty Trained
*Crate Trained
*Training Required

Meet Kirin, a sweet, easygoing girl who is settling beautifully into home life and is ready to find her forever family. Kirin is dog friendly and does great with both large and small dogs. She’s enjoyed playing with her canine friends at the ARC and currently gets along well with the two dogs in her foster home. While her experience with cats is unknown, she does have a bit of a prey drive, so any feline sibling would need to be confident and playful.

Kirin is fully potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night and is comfortable spending time there during the day, especially with a treat toy to keep her occupied. She’s kid friendly and has a wonderful balance of energy—happy to go for walks, run in the yard, play fetch, or romp with other dogs, but just as content to relax and nap throughout the day.

Her favorite things include playing fetch, chewing on bones, collecting her toys in her bed or crate, running around the yard, soaking up time with her people, enjoying food and treats, playing with other dogs, chasing squirrels, and watching the world go by through the window. She truly loves being part of the action and near her humans.

Kirin would thrive in a home where someone is around during the day, whether that’s a human working from home or another dog to keep her company. She does have some separation anxiety, but it’s already improving with consistency and patience. She’s incredibly adaptable, eager to learn, and will do wonderfully with continued training.

After everything she’s been through, Kirin has shown just how resilient and loving she is. She’s an amazing dog with a gentle, happy spirit and would make a fantastic family companion for the lucky home that chooses her.

If interested in adopting me please fill out an application on our website at www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org; please make sure you fill in every required field/question or your submission will not go through.
