Kirby - in a foster home's Story
Kirby is a 4-year-old Weimaraner mix who weighs 61 pounds, and he’s as goofy and fun-loving as they come! This active boy is always up for a good time—whether it’s running around the yard or chasing after his favorite tennis balls. With his big personality and playful energy, Kirby is sure to keep you smiling.

Kirby can be a little jumpy and excitable, especially when he’s feeling uncertain, but once he’s comfortable, his friendly, affectionate nature really shines through. Because of this, he’d do best in a home with kids ages 10 and up who can appreciate both his silly antics and his need for a little patience. When it comes to other dogs, Kirby can be forward, so he would thrive as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention.

With a family who’s ready to embrace his playful side while helping him feel secure, Kirby is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Come meet Kirby at the Humane Society of Summit County, 752 West Portage Trail, Akron, OH 44313, or call us at 330-487-0333 ext. 803 to learn more!
