I'm surprisingly petite, a nice medium weight. They say the camera adds 10 pounds and I agree! I look bigger in my pics so really do need to come meet me!

I hear that being good with cats might increase my chance of finding someone who wants to take me home and I have to tell you....I lived with a herd of cats before we were all taken away and ended up in a shelter. Still, I'm a kind, pretty calm and well adjusted boy who is ready to be a part of your family for years to come. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. We also have reduced or waived adoption fees for many seniors, dogs with speciall medical or behavioral needs and other "slow to adopt" dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
