I’m Kirby, and if I do say so myself I'm a pretty playful, sweet, and cuddly chap. I came to Underdogs with parvo, but after lots of rest, healing, and diligent care, I’ve healed up and I’m ready to move on to my forever home! <br/><br/>I’m happy to report that I am fully crate trained, and have also done a great job with my housebreaking - I rarely have an accident!. Due to my parvo restrictions (recently lifted!) my leash manners are still a work in progress, but I know quite a few commands, including ‘sit’, &quot;lay down', 'leave it', and 'stay’, and I’m eager to learn more! Maybe we can work on some of those things together at an obedience class, where I could also make some new friends and get comfortable with meeting new dogs! <br/><br/>I love my humans and like to be near them. If they are cooking, I hang out in the kitchen with them, and if they move to the living room I love to hop up on the couch right next to them! I’m definitely a social butterfly and also love to play with other dogs, cats, and kids, and nothing is more fun than meeting new people! Being outside is so much fun and my doggie foster siblings and I romp around in the yard lots! I'm not intimidated by big dogs and have lots of fun wrestling and playing chase with them. After we play I like to lay in the sunshine. <br/><br/>I would be really happy going to a forever home with another dog to play with, but I’d be just as content with any lap I can instantly fall asleep in!
