Kip

Meet Kip! Kip came to HoundSong with a sad start of life story, but he is ready to move on from that for his happily ever after. Kip is around a year old and weighs roughly 30lbs. Kip enjoys the company of the other dogs in foster home as they help him be more confident (he can be a little nervous around loud sounds), so we would love Kip's forever home to have a 4-legged friend. Kip would do best in a home without cats as he does have a bit of that beagle drive. Kip is young (around a year old) and super playful, which also means he can be mischievous. But his foster mom says he listens well and really only does mischievous things when he is looking for attention. Kip really enjoys toys and enjoys being outside, so a fenced in yard is a must for this boy. He is doing well with both crate and house training, so that is a definite perk! Contact us to learn even more about our sweet Kip as he truly deserves the perfect forever after!

Adoption Fee: $300
Complete the HoundSong Rescue adoption application: https://houndsong.com/adoptapp.php
No meet and greets will be scheduled without the completion and approval of an adoption application. All our dogs live in foster homes, so a meet and greet will have to be scheduled with the foster family.

HoundSong Rescue dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. HoundSong Rescue also offers Fi Collars for an additional $100 fee. Fi Collars are GPS collars with many other features we find valuable when owning a hound. Our amazing adoption coordinators will happily answer any questions you have in regards to the Fi Collar and the dog you are interested in adopting.

Pet Friendly Services of Indiana provides grant funding, in the form of free discount coupons, to help shelters and rescue groups spay/neuter cats and dogs in our care through the Pet Friendly Plate Program.
